This is absorbing and very clever writing!

Beautifully evocative of like in Paris during the War and switches seamlessly to the present day. Totally believable.

What a fabulous story! I couldn’t put it down, it had a mixture of excitement, danger and romance.
I really hope this author does more WW2 like this one, as it was brilliant!

I could not put this book down. I cried, I laughed, but most of all; I was inspired. Characters I could see vividly. The story is about a couple who own a bookstore in Paris. The wife becomes involved in the resistance. Her husband, later becomes involved in the Resistance. Time goes back and forth between 1939 and 2022. The current time period is about a woman visiting Paris with her husband. I don’t want to give too much away. It is about bravery, heartbreak, suffering and hope.
