I’ve read and loved all of Sittenfeld’s novels, and this one is probably my favourite. 5 shining fantasy stars! This book is perfect. She writes about joy, humor and love while still being awkward, self-sabotaging and messy. She writes a comedy writer who has funnier performances on the page than most comedians. This is the book I need most. I was lucky enough to transfer from the UK. It doesn’t come out until April, but man, it was worth the wait.
I love love love this book. A romantic comedy with a sharp and smart script. Laugh out loud and get an inside look at how a skit show like Saturday Night Live works. If you like hilarious love stories, quirky characters and inside scenes from famous shows, then romantic comedies are for you!
